Everything you need to know about subscriptions, payments, and refunds.
Plans & Pricing
Duowise offers two subscription tiers, plus individual Lesson Passes:
- Free — $0/month, 3 lessons per month with basic daily interaction limits.
- Pro — $20/month, 30 lessons per month with higher daily limits, learning statistics, and vocabulary export.
- Lesson Pass — $1 per lesson, purchased individually. Up to 20 per month.
Prices do not include applicable sales tax or VAT, which is calculated at checkout based on your location.
Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed through Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem handles currency conversion, sales tax collection, and VAT compliance on our behalf. You may see "Creem" or "CREEM" on your bank or credit card statement.
Subscription Management
You can manage your subscription from Settings > Plan inside the app. From there you can:
- View your current plan and remaining lessons.
- See your next renewal date.
- Cancel your subscription. You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Automatic Renewal
Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month. You will be charged on the same date each month. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and no further charges will be made.
Refunds
We offer a 24-hour refund window on initial Pro subscriptions, provided you have generated no more than 3 lessons. Subscription renewals and used Lesson Passes are non-refundable. EU and UK customers have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal, subject to digital content delivery terms.

Invoices & Receipts
You will receive an email receipt for every payment. If you need a formal invoice for business or tax purposes, please contact our support team and we will provide one.
